Small Beginnings, Big Future

RJM Engineering was established in 1991 with the objective of applying exceptional engineering services to transportation projects in Maryland. Since then RJM has consistently grown and today offers a wide range of quality engineering services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our staff now includes a rising group of professional leaders, as well as mid- and entry-level engineers, to ensure continued success and stability in the years to come. We have undergone several recent expansions of our Ellicott City, Maryland office.

  • Smaller and Flexible

As a smaller firm, we have the flexibility to adapt how we work based on the needs of each project. This allows us to serve our clients in the best way possible for each job, while creating a range of opportunities for our engineers. The engineers at RJM thrive on a challenge, while prudently applying what they have learned in the field.

  • Well Educated

RJM’s team of highly educated and technically skilled engineers include individuals with PhDs, masters degrees, and professional engineering licenses. All of our engineers—even those with decades of experience—continue their professional development through education, professional certifications, and the broad range of services that RJM provides.

  • A Trusted Voice

RJM plays an active role in the civil engineering industry at a grassroots level, through its involvement with ACEC-Maryland—the voice of the engineering community in Maryland. We care about the issues that affect engineers on an individual level, and those issues that affect all engineering companies, large and small.
